The TSE LabMaster represents the most flexible modular system on the market for top-of-the-art automated
metabolic and behavioral monitoring of small laboratory animals.
- Metabolic performance via indirect calorimetry – O2 consumption & CO2
production, Respiratory Exchange Rate (RER), Energy Expenditure (EE), etc.
- Drinking & feeding behavior with high-precision sensors – amounts and time patterns, up to 6
sensors per cage, controlled food or liquid access per time or amount
- Spontaneous home cage activity via sensor frames – total activity, ambulatory and fine movements,
rearing
- Running wheel activity – voluntary or forced; options: PC-controlled "enabled / disabled" function,

- Urine & feces separation in metabolic cages and quantification via weighing sensors

The system comes with the LabMaster software for setting up the experiment design and for recording and
evaluating trial data. The measured data can be exported into Excel or other standard databases.
The LabMaster System is available for a large number of simultaneous measuring places in different standard
configurations or according to customer specifications.
