TSE Head Nose Only exposure units are modular with an expandable design this allows them to be continually
adapted to suit the customer's requirements.
- Controlled administration of test substance via the nose, reducing skin and fur contamination
- Avoidance of rebreathing expired air with the directed-flow principle, equilibrium distribution was
validated by Prof. Pauluhn (1994 and 2007)
- Low substance consumption, advisable for either highly toxic or expensive test substances or those
in short supply
- Robust stainless steel or aluminum construction as standard units
- Restrainers are available for a wide range of animals - mouse up to guinea pig as standard, in
addition to rabbit, ferret and dog inhalation units
|
Each exposure unit can be designed with individual features; short or long legs, mobile or stationary, in
addition to customer specified sealing materials and size restraints, governed by either laboratory dimensions
or fume hood restrictions.
