The PhenoMaster / LabMaster software allows the specification of the experimental setup and the recording and analysis
of test data. For each hardware module a specific software module is available within the PhenoMaster / LabMaster
software package.
- User-friendly planning of experiments and definition of test parameters such as box settings, descriptive text,
animal identifier, etc.
- Clearly arranged representation of data in tables and graphical displays
- Setting of flow and measuring intervals for calorimetric measurements
- Calculation of metabolic parameters such as O2 consumption, CO2 production, Respiratory
Exchange Rate, Energy Expenditure, etc.
- Recording of the times and amounts of liquid and food consumed with subsequent integrated meal analysis
- Special drinking and feeding trial monitor to display online the amounts consumed so far
- Recording the number of different classes of light-beam breaks caused by the animal's movements
- Simultaneous data saving during the ongoing experiment

The PhenoMaster / LabMaster software package is structured modularly, i.e. depending on the system configuration, only
those software modules are activated that are necessary. System extensions are easily possible with an upgrade of the
PhenoMaster / LabMaster software by activating the new software module.
