Vibrotome
|
This compact easy-to-use precision microtome cuts sections of fresh, unfixed tissue in 5 µm steps
down to 50 µm (20 µm with fixed specimen). Cutting takes place in physiological buffer thus
minimizing damage. The vibrating blade is fixed in a holder with variable angle and operates with
adjustable vibration frequency.
- The optimized bath advance ensures excellent cutting accuracy even after long-time use
- Available with comfortable motorized bath advance (user-defined rate) or as manually operated

The Krumdieck Tissue Slicer

The Krumdieck Tissue Slicer is a unique automated microtome allowing the rapid preparation of
aseptic slices of life tissue for neurological, pharmacological, toxicological or other in-vitro
studies. (slice thickness 60...1000 microns).
- The cut tissue is especially suited for prolonged organ culture or receptor studies
- The instrument eliminates the major sources of error in tissue slice work, such as different
and uneven slice thickness and irregular non-reproducible cut surfaces
