MOT - Motility Meter

The TSE MOT is an easy-to-use movement detector based on a sensor that is integrated into a measuring platform usable for home cages of any size. Animal's movements are converted into time-integrated pulses and accumulated in activity counters. MOT considers all types of movement including rearing and grooming behavior. The system is especially suited for long-term measurements such as circadian studies where general activity data are required.

The TSE MOT software for Windows provides total counts in user-selected time intervals that can be easily exported for further statistical evaluation.
