Motor Skill Testing
In the restricted environment of a rodent lab cage, running wheels provide an outlet for the animal' s natural tendency to move and exercise. Beyond just allowing the animal to behave naturally and thereby reduce stress, running wheels in specific configurations can also be used to analyze motor skills, and physiological and behavioral traits.
Complex motor skills during walking and running can be tested with dedicated TSE running wheel modules
