TSE Systems Stellar Telemetry is a quantum leap ahead in high-performance, reliable rat telemetry systems and allows easy remote monitoring and collection of physiological data (like rat heart rate, ECG, EEG, rat blood pressure and temperature) in multiple, freely moving animals. Our implantable telemetry system is suitable for small animals like rodents as well as larger animals like cats, monkeys, dogs and even agriculutural animals. Proprietary technology enables features never experienced before:

• System for chronic wireless long-range telemetric recording of physiological data such as heart rate, blood pressure, biopotentials (ECG, EEG) and temperature in preclinical research
• Allows long-term monitoring of conscious, unrestrained, freely moving laboratory animals
• Can be used on any animal from rats to larger, e.g. also for rabbit telemetry, dog telemetry, cat telemetry, monkey telemetry etc.
• Compatible with modern automated home cage phenotyping systems such as PhenoMaster and IntelliCage and classical behavior paradigms as well as inhalation exposure systems
• Long-range recording: Distance between implanted transmitter and receiver up to 5 m / 18 ft: place your receiver anywhere in the lab
• Transmitter and data logger in one implant: Experiments and telemetric data recordings can be conducted and collected without interruption even while animal is out of transmission range of receiver (for example - after moving animal to another room). Up to 2 hr storage capacity on board
• Catheter tipped pressure transducer eliminates slow frequency response; head pressure and animal movement noise are not factors to performance
• Up to 256,000 animals can be monitored by a single receiver
• Large groups of animals can be housed in the same cage
• For animals of a body weight of ≥170g
• Dedicated platforms not required under each cage
