RAT stream Project (2007 - 2010)

"European project on the characterization of transgenic rat models for neurodegenerative and psychiatric diseases: Automated home cage analyses, live imaging and treatment".

Within this first European project on automated phenotyping the RATstream™ consortium focuses on high-throughput phenotype characterization of rats, in order to identify animal models of neurodegenerative and neuropsychiatric diseases such as Huntington's disease, Parkinson's disease or Spinocerebellar ataxia type 17.

As the main technological partner within RATstream™ TSE Systems successfully developed the TSE PhenoMaster for rats which already lead to first scientific publications.
